Please reach us at info@risepilatessanford.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Welcome! We recommend starting with our 30-minute Beginner class option or booking a private initial consultation. This ensures you get familiar with the equipment, learn the foundational movements, and feel confident moving at your own pace.
Mat Pilates (Tone and Sculpt) uses your own body weight for resistance on a floor mat, focusing heavily on core strength and control. Reformer Pilates utilizes a specialized machine with springs and pulleys to add adjustable resistance, which can both challenge your strength and support your alignment. Both offer an incredible full-body workout!
Wear comfortable, form-fitting athletic clothes that allow you to move freely without being too baggy (this helps our instructors check your alignment). For safety and hygiene, grip socks are required for all Reformer classes. We have them available for purchase at the front desk if you need a pair!
Because our class sizes are kept small to ensure personalized attention, advanced booking is highly recommended. You can easily view our schedule and reserve your spot through our website or our booking app.
We have a 12-hour cancellation policy. If you cancel outside of this window, the class credit will be returned to your account. Late cancellations or no-shows will result in the loss of the class credit.
Our waitlists can move quickly! If a spot opens up, you will be automatically added to the class and notified via text or email up to 2 hours before start time. Please keep an eye on your notifications if you are on a waitlist!
To ensure the safety of our clients and maintain the flow of the workout, our studio doors are locked exactly at class start time, and we do not allow late entry. The warm-up is a critical part of the session to prevent injury. If you miss the start of class, it will be treated as a late cancellation. We highly recommend arriving 5 to 10 minutes early to settle in, catch your breath, and get ready to move!
